Account privacy

Download counts

I keep daily totals of file and bundle downloads to understand which pieces are being used. These statistics do not store your account identity or IP address.

Builder projects

Cloud saves store your project name and layout privately with your account. I can view saved designs and previews in my administrator-only gallery to support and improve the beta. Other members cannot see them. I use revision and request identifiers to prevent conflicting or duplicated saves. Paid membership expiry does not delete your projects or remove account backup exports. Deleted projects remain recoverable for at least 30 days. The Builder uses a separate secure session cookie tied to your website sign-in.

If you choose to attach a project backup or diagnostics to a report, I store that copy privately with the conversation. Reports do not automatically include your cloud projects.

Prototype feedback

Your reports, replies and images are private to your website account and me. Images are re-encoded to remove embedded metadata and stored outside the public website folder. Conversations remain available after paid membership expires, including new reports. I publish known issues and fixes separately, without automatically copying private reports or images. Use account help if you want me to remove a report or attachment.

Prototype community

Community posts, comments, photos and your chosen display name are visible to admitted prototype members and me. Membership history keeps your forum access and tester badge after paid membership ends. I store your upvotes, followed discussions and which discussions you have viewed to provide sorting and unread indicators. Viewer identities are not shown to other members. Photo metadata is removed during upload. Content reports are private to me.

Deleting a contribution removes its text and images from the forum but leaves a placeholder so other people's replies remain. Private server backups may retain earlier copies until those backups expire. Optional permission to feature a post publicly is separate from posting. Existing beta discussions do not automatically become public when the forum opens.

I use your website account details to provide sign-in, prototype access and account support.

Google sign-in

Google supplies your account identifier and profile details, including your email address, when you choose Google sign-in. Your Google password is not shared with this website.

Patreon connection

Patreon supplies your account identifier and membership information after you approve the connection. Its membership permission can return memberships to other creators. I only use and save your Masterful Dungeons membership details for access checks. Connection tokens are stored encrypted on the server.

Optional Builder recordings

Recording is off by default. If you allow it inside the Builder, PostHog records your 3D dungeon and interactions for me to review in its EU service. Project names, text inputs and dialogs are excluded. Account pages, private reports, request bodies, headers and console logs are not recorded. No website account identifier is attached. Recordings are retained for 30 days. Your choice applies to that open Builder session and you can stop using the Recording button. This is separate from newsletter and public-site analytics choices.

Access codes

If you redeem an access code, I store its link to your account, the granted areas, redemption time, expiry and revocation status. The code itself is stored as a one-way hash. Code access is separate from Patreon membership.

Manual access and administration

If I grant access manually, I record the selected areas, expiry, reason and changes privately. I also keep private support notes and an administration activity log to manage access and resolve problems.

Ticket reply notifications

I send a support email when I reply to a private ticket, unless you switch this off in My account. The email links to the signed-in conversation and does not contain your report or attachments. This preference is separate from the newsletter. I record whether the mail service accepted the notification, not whether you opened it.

Account support

The help form saves your message and reply address privately for me to review. Administrator corrections to Patreon connections are recorded with a reason.

Invitation-only pilot

Registration and password-recovery emails are delivered to your account email address. Sign-in uses session cookies. An invitation cookie remembers access to the pilot entry for 30 days. Account and membership checks still protect member features.

For questions or a request about your account data, use the help form on My account.
